Upgrade Classes

Columbia Pacific Maritime offers upgrade classes that can save mariners time and money when increasing the scope or raising the grade of an existing Captain’s license. When upgrading a license the applicant must meet the total sea service requirements of the new license using all previously documented sea service plus all newly acquired sea service.

  • The classes indicated below will satisfy the exam requirements only; they will not satisfy any of the sea service requirements for the upgrade. Please view the requirements pages at www.ColumbiaPacificMaritime.com for information on the required experience for these upgrades.
